AMPLITUBE FENDER
Monday, July 5th, 2010Now, this made me drool when I first learned about it. Imagine all the Fender Cabinets in the palm of your hands, or more like the click of your mouse. And for your information, this is the only guitar amp and FX software that was made in collaboration with Fender. That is why; I didn’t think twice about it, I love Fender.
If you look at it, it looks the same with the previous Amplitube interface but the sweet thing about it is you’ll see Fender amps. Looks realistic and complete with all the knobs, authentic knobs. There are Factory Presets that contains amps like the ’65 Deluxe Reverb or the ’65 Twin Reverb. There are 5 Modules available, the tuner, Stomp, Amps, Cab and Rack. These are common to Amplitube and former users would use it without a problem.
The problem with software amps is their dynamics. Almost software amps could emulate the sound of the real thing so close that you might want it more but the problem is the dynamic response between your guitar and amp, you would feel that the moment you play your guitar, the real amps responds differently. But in all fairness, the Amplitube Fender responded quite well, much better than other software.
There are other Fender Presets available that you would surely love and I would guarantee that even though I’m not paid to do so.
