Buying cheap guitars – worth it or not?
Majority of the public thinks that if guitars are cheap, it is low quality and it’s a poorly manufactured guitar. Matter of fact, people would think that it isn’t made in the US, must be made in china or something and they would never buy it. But today, that is not the issue anymore. Big guitar manufacturers like Gibson guitars have already placed factories in China, Korea and India to produce the quality Gibson instruments that people always wanted in a low price. Let’s face it, not anyone could buy a two thousand dollar Fender or Gibson electric guitar and the market is vast for guitars that are priced around 400 US dollars and lower. (Sounds good)
Why are some guitars cheap and some are outrageously expensive? Well, it’s the manufacturing process that matters. Some are handmade that is why it is expensive compared to the highly – automated guitar production machines which doesn’t require much human labor compared to hand – made guitars. Quality wise, hand – made guitars are more precise and accurate since machines doesn’t have that human feel and instinct. But that does mean that cheap guitars sound awful. It always depends on you, how you would use it or how you would want it.
